Primitive Andy Scarecrow Free E-Pattern For Your Fall Decorating

With Fall just around the corner and crafters thinking of their Fall decorating I thought you might enjoy a free e-pattern from one of my oldest scarecrow dolls - Primitive Andy Scarecrow.

He considers himself to be the "Casanova" of the scarecrow set.

Now I know you wondering why that is.  He doesn't look like a "Casanova!"

Well, it's because the girls just love him.  In fact they adore him.

Everywhere he goes they mob him and want to touch him.

If you don't believe me just ask them! They'll tell you.

So, what is it about him that drives the girls crazy?

Well, they just love his button eyes and raffia strips. They love his floppy hat and all his clothes. They love his smile and his "primitiveness."

Pretty much, they just love everything about him. He's just so little and so cute!

Primitive Andy Scarecrow has a coffee stained cloth body stuffed with poly-fil.  His adorable face is embroidered with two-buttoned eyes and he has blush on his cheeks.  His hair is made of raffia and sticks out of his hat and waistband of his pants.

His shirt is coffee stained with 3/4 length sleeves and his pants are large, gathered and tattered on the edges.  As far as he's concerned it's the perfect outfit for a "little guy."

He has a small tattered ribbon tied around his neck and waistline and a coffee stained hat.  To finish him off floss is sewn to his legs and feet for his raggedy red stripes.

He's the perfect little scarecrow for home decorating.

Please note: My free e-pattern shows you how to make a 15" primitive scarecrow doll.  The chair that is pictured is not included in the directions.
