Sweet Terra Babies - Baby Shower Free E-Pattern

With my love of dolls and loving to create with terracotta you had to know that one of my  "It's Raining Baby Showers"  e-patterns had to be a doll.  Right?

  

"Sweet Terra Babies"  are the sweetest group of baby shower centerpiece dolls you'd ever want to meet.  They are just so precious you just want to take them home with you.

The centerpiece doll bodies are terracotta pots turned upside down with painted wood knobs attached for their heads. Each doll has lush alpaca roving for hair and pink blushed cheeks.

Both of the dresses have tulle under-slips and both are adorned with lace trim around the bottom edge and around the neck.

One of the dolls  has a pink bonnet with a lined brim and ribbon ties for  tying the bonnet around her neck.

The other doll has a gathered and lace trim bonnet that is adorned with ribbon bows.

"Sweet Terra Babies" make adorable centerpieces for any baby shower, adorable decorations for any mother-to-be or grandmother-to-be, and great baby shower games prizes.

"Sweet Terra Babies" is a free e-pattern to create two sweet as can be 8" centerpiece dolls. The dolls bodies are constructed the same way, but their wearing different colored dresses and different styles of bonnets.  One of the girls dresses is made using my  Baby Nicky Girl and Boy and It's A Girl! It's A Boy! Squares and the other dress and bonnet is made using my Pink and Blue Hearts fabric.

It's Raining Baby Girls Penny Rug Baby Mini Quilt Decoration Free E-Pattern

Sometimes you just totally enjoy what you're designing and making. Such was the case with my new "It's Raining Baby Showers" penny rug wool felt baby mini quilts.

I had been wanting to create wool felt penny rug type mini quilts for my "It's Raining Baby Showers" baby shower decorations line and thought that mini quilts with baby heads in buntings raining down under umbrellas would be cute.

I thought they'd make cheery and adorable mini quilts to decorate a baby girls or baby boys nursery or to decorate a baby girls or baby boys baby shower? It's raining babies, rattles, umbrella's, and rain drops.

It's Raining Baby Girls is an e-pattern to make a 8/12" by 11" penny rug pink wool felt mini quilt that hangs from a finished pink ribbon tied in a bow. Three baby girls bundled in baby buntings and three baby boys bundled in baby buntings are raining down under a delightful pink decorated and embroidered wool felt umbrella. Yellow rattles decorated with ribbon bows and rain drops are scattered throughout the mini quilt.

The wool felt mini quilt is made from two pink pieces of wool felt (8 1/2" by 11") which are blanket stitched around all the edges. The pink umbrella is embellished with bright pink bows and embroidered with accent lines. The baby heads have embroidered and blushed cheek faces, yarn for hair, creme felt buntings, and ribbon bows for decorations.

It's Raining Baby Girls makes an adorable decoration for any nursery or gift for a mother-to-be.

It's Raining Baby Boys Penny Rug Baby Mini Quilt Decoration Free E-Pattern

"Swaddling Baby Boys & Girls!” Baby Shower Favors Free E-Patterns and Combo E-Pattern

If you love making primitive, country, and folk art home decor and dolls then you're going to love our "Swaddling Baby Boys! and Swaddling Baby Girls!" baby shower favor ornaments and 4 in 1 combo free e-pattern.

  

"Swaddling Baby Boys" is a pattern to make two adorable 8" baby boy baby shower ornaments or favors. The baby boys are adorned with blue ribbons and are comprised of a cloth half body swaddled in a warm & natural blanket. Both faces are embroidered.  Their cheeks are blushed with powdered chalk.

One of the baby boys has blue eyes and sports straight brown hair on the top of his head which is covered by a gathered blue flannel double layered cap.  The other baby boy has brown eyes and sports straight blond hair on the top of his head which is covered by a gathered blue flannel double layered cap.  The boy ornaments are hung by a blue DMC embroidery floss hanger. I Love My Egg Bunny Free E-Pattern

If you're looking for a fun and easy bunny woodcraft to make for Easter or the springtime my "I Love My Egg" bunny woodcraft might be perfect.  She makes an adorable decoration for any cottage, shabby chic, or Victorian home.

"I Love My Egg" is so proud of her beautiful large egg and small Easter egg.  Her large egg is just so beautiful, so cheery.  Every time she looks at it she can't help but smile.

"I Love My Egg" is a pattern to make a brush & sponge painted wooden bunny and wooden sponge painted egg.  The wood bunny is brush and sponge painted with outlining along the edges, a painted face, and floppy white felt ears.  She is wearing a brushed felt vest with lace trim along the neckline. She has a white tuft of roving hair and a large pink fabric bow on the top of her head.

Her small Easter egg is painted and striped.  The beautiful large wooden egg is sponge painted with white, blue, pink and lilac colors and has a fabric bow decoration and zig-zag painted stripes.

"I Love My Egg" is hoping when you see her you'll smile, too.

Baby Bootie Time Favors and Ornaments Free E-Pattern

I have always been amazed at how small newborn's feet are and have loved looking at baby booties and tiny little baby shoes forever.  So, I must have had tiny baby booties on my mind while designing e-patterns for my "It's Raining Baby Showers" line.

"Baby Bootie Time" makes four adorable wool felt shoe favors for any baby shower and adorable decorations or ornaments for any mother-to-be or grandmother-to-be.  Actually, they're a great way to tell just about anyone that you are expecting.

There are two gray wool felt booties: one for a baby boy and one for a baby girl. The gray baby boy bootie is embroidered with the words "baby" in light blue embroidery floss on the toes and is blanket stitched with light blue embroidery floss all along the edges. Floss is used to tie the bootie strings in a bow.

The gray baby girl bootie is embroidered with the words "baby" in light pink embroidery floss on the toes and is blanket stitched with light pink embroidery floss all along the edges. Floss is used to tie the bootie strings in a bow.

There's also a pink flower adorned bootie for a baby girl and a blue star adorned bootie for a baby boy.

The pink baby girl bootie is adorned with a multi-layered pink and white felt flower on the toes and on the heel of the bootie and is blanket stitched with light pink embroidery floss all along the top edges. Floss is used to tie the bootie strings in a bow.

The blue baby boy bootie is adorned with a multi-layered blue and white felt stars on the toes and on the heel of the bootie and is blanket stitched with light pink embroidery floss all along the top edges. Floss is used to tie the bootie strings in a bow.

The "Baby Bootie Time" e-pattern also includes instructions for blanket stitching.

"Baby Bootie Time" is a pattern to create four adorable 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" baby shoe favor ornaments. All of the baby shoe favors are made out of wool felt and each of the shoes is embroidered in its' own special way.

Sleepy Baby Booties Free E-Pattern

Any time I get to work with babies and baby shower crafts I'm in designer's heaven. I could blissfully sew and create dolls, favors, and ornaments for my "It's Raining Baby Showers"  line for hours and days on end. So, when I get to work with any of my baby shower dolls and crafts I couldn't be happier.

How could I not be?

I love dealing with the incredible cheery colors of baby girl pink and baby boy blue. It doesn't get much cheerier than that.

Here's a few of my may shower dolls & crafts that I loved creating.

"Sleepy Baby Booties" are two of the most adorable baby favors you'd ever want to meet. They're just so cheery, so positive, and so happy to be part of any baby shower.

Their heads are made of muslin and their faces are embroidered with two black beads for eyes. They have mohair hair and rosy pink blushed cheeks. Their booties are made of wool felt and their laces are tied with pink or blue embroidery floss. Ribbon bows adorn the back of their shoes and tops of their heads.

"Sleepy Baby Booties" make adorable favors for any baby shower and adorable decorations or ornaments for any mother-to-be or grandmother-to-be. Actually, they're a great way to tell just about anyone that you are expecting.

"Sleepy Baby Booties" is a pattern to create two an 3 1/2" by 4" baby shoe favor ornaments. Each baby head is sitting in their respective baby bootie. Both of the hats are made using my It's A Girl/Boy Pink and Blue Circles Fabric. White Pompoms adorn the tips of their hats.

Alpaca Wool Felt Mini Quilts Decorations Free E-Patterns and Mug Rugs

I fell in love with mini quilts years ago. Mainly because they were tiny little mini quilts you could easily make and you could hang them just about anywhere for a cute little decoration.  The mini quilts could be made out of any type of fabric, wool felt, and even needle felted out of roving.

Given I was in an "Alpacas Rock" creating mode I decided to design 6 wool felt mini quilts and 1 mug rug showing alpacas for the various decorating seasons and create e-patterns for them as well.  Last week I decided to make all 7 of these e-patterns free for you so you could create cute little alpaca mini quilts and mug rugs of your own.
