Revisions To A Beautiful Trio Of Victorian Collage Shelf Sitter Mixed Media Art Dolls - Meet Pat, Polly and Phebe

Pat, Polly, and Phebe are a trio of sisters who love spending time together. Whether it's shopping, sitting around talking, sewing, cooking, or just fanning themselves with their beautiful Victorian fans you'll find them together.

They are mixed media Victorian collage shelf sitter art dolls that I made back in September of 2014.

I was never happy with the way they turned out and thought they could be approved upon.  So, I decided to change their faces from paper faces to paper-clay sculpted and painted faces with paper and painted eyes.

Phebe is the doll in the right of the 2nd picture at the top of this post. Here's how she used to look:

Here's how she looks now:

Phebe - 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 3/4" Handmade Mixed Media Victorian Paper-clay and Collage Shelf Sitter Art Doll

Phebe is a 4 1/4" x 6 1/4" x 3/4" mixed media Victorian shelf sitter wood doll with a with a paper-clay sculpted and painted face, pink painted finger nails, sponge painted wood body, paper collage and embellished outfit. Her paper-clay sculpted and painted face has painted eyebrows, paper and painted eyes, painted eyelids, and paper and painted lips.  The corner of her eyes are embellished with orange glitter paint and her cheeks are blushed. Her sides and back are sponge painted and her outfit is an embellished paper collage dress with center band with white raised dots, waistband, and sleeves with raised blue dots.  She has a floral print cape with raised blue dots.  White lace trim adorned with a pink silk ribbon floral is wrapped around her neck.

Her beautiful brown thick alpaca yarn hair from Rock Garden Alpacas Fiber is wrapped in a bun and adorned with three paper and pearl flowers and silver glitter ribbon braid headband. She is holding a Victorian paper fan in her hands.

I hope you like the changes I made to Pat, Polly and Phebe.  I'm pleased with the way they came out.
